We arranged a full day private tour to Sintra from Lisbon. This company is professional, responsive and reasonable. Rita was a lovely guide - very sweet to our young daughters, spoke excellent English and she was knowledgeable on history and culture. She didn't talk at you constantly but gave enough info and fielded questions easily. She picked us up in an air conditioned van in downtown Lisbon and we had a full, but leisurely day. We toured the Pena palace in Sintra, walked around the town and had stops in Cabo da Roca, Guincho beach, Boca do Inferno, Cascais and Estoril and then to the heights of Lisbon, for an incredible view over the fort and city. A thoroughly enjoyable experience for all of us.

We had a wonderful day and saw so much more than we could have ever accomplished on our own. Cesar was our driver/tour guide and was fantastic! Started the day off from our accommodations in Lisbon and headed to Sintra and the Pena Palace. Then on to Cabo da Roca and the town of Cascais. We had time for a walk around Cascais and a nice lunch where we experienced our first chicken piri piri, on Cesar's recommendation. That dish quickly became a favourite choice while touring around Lisbon and the Algarve. Following lunch it was back to Lisbon where we were able to see so much and stopped in for the most amazing custard tarts we've ever had. It was a great day and Cesar was a big reason why. So friendly and informative. Well done!

On Host Tours did a fantastic job of taking us to the see the beautiful sites of Sintra and the Atlantic coast so that we had a better understanding of all that Lisbon offers. My adult son said he would never forget the fairy-tale like castle and I loved getting a glimpse of the beautiful beaches and rock formations on the coast. We also got a much better understanding of the role the Portuguese played in exploring the world in the 15th century by visiting the Belem fortress. On Tours organised the trip perfectly, allowing us to decide our preferences, but also having good suggestions for time management. They provided a very fine, clean Mercedes van in which we were very comfortable, Rita, our guide, was on time, professional, as well as charming and most pleasant. She enjoyed discussing a range of topics from history, to current times, to life in Portugal. On Host Portugal seems to take a lot of pride in running an excellent company and I highly recommend using them during your stay in Lisbon.

Cesar picked us up in a very comfortable Mercedes van exactly on time at our hotel. He drove us to Sintra to see the Pena Palace and explained the sights along the way. He could not have been nicer or more professional. It was like being with a family friend. Cesar did not talk at us but with us and anticipated our needs before we did. After walking us through the palace, and helping us take pictures of our family, he dropped us off to have lunch in Sintra. After lunch he took us all along the coast to see the various beaches and towns. He also took us to Cabo de Roca the most western point of Europe. All in all it was a wonderful day and the highlight of our trip to Portugal. We can't wait to visit Portugal again and have Cesar as our guide!

My family of four recently went on the Golden Triangle/Private Tour with Diogo. From start to finish this was a great experience. Communication beforehand through emails was quick and efficient and the day of the trip was fantastic. Diogo was professional, friendly and very patient with my little family. This was the highlight of our visit to Portugal and well worth the cost of the trip. I highly recommend this company and guide.
